Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actor who is employed on TV and in films is well known for movies like Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. As the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra started her professional career in showbiz early. Her roles included lead characters in TV dramas as young as 16 years old. The audience was impressed by her role as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved the way to other memorable parts, such as Adolf Hitler's Secretariat Traudl Junge. A native from Puyallup Washington Butler was interested in performing arts as she grew in her teens. She was a performer in high school theatre and in the community theatre. When she moved to Los Angeles, she studied theater in The University of Southern California and was Belle the Princess on the stage in Beauty and the Beast at Disneyland for a year and a quarter.
