Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She is an actress from Germany and Romania. Her most well-known movies include Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. The actress was the sole child of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. In her early teens, Alexandra played the leading part in a variety of television dramas. In the Oscar nominated film Downfall her character as the Secretary Traudljunge of Adolf Hitler was also critically acclaimed. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are the other Oscar nominees featuring the divas. Alexandra worked on several significant international and national productions throughout her career. A native from Puyallup Washington Butler was interested in performing arts as she grew in her teens. She was a performer in high school theatre and in the community theatre. When she moved to Los Angeles, she studied theater in The University of Southern California and was Belle the Princess on the stage in Beauty and the Beast at Disneyland for a year and a quarter.
